Most of us are currently spending a lot of time at home. Sometimes you enjoy it, sometimes you hate it. For me it is so important to make my home fell like a happy and cozy place.
The way we are living also influences our well-being. Body, mind, soul and environment influence each other and are interdependent.
I love essential oils. Aromatherapy has benefits for your central nervous system so you can relax or feel more energized whenever you like.
That's why I really enjoy incorporating my own little mindfulness rituals into everyday life and today I share my three favorite recipes for a DIY room spray.
What else you need:
- 50ml spray bottle
- Gloves
- Funnel
- Glass beaker
- Mixing spoon
- Optional gemstones
- Paper towels
- Disinfectant
Ingredients:
- 8ml (alcohol, like Vodka)
- 40ml Distilled water
- essential oil mix
Recipe ideas:
Here are some more ideas for the esstional oils and moods you can create with this room spray.
Happy Mood:
- 15 drops orange
- 10 drops grapefruit
- 10 drops peppermint
Sleep:
- 25 drops lavender
- 10 drops vanilla
Working Mood:
- 15 drops peppermint
- 10 drops rosemary
Instructions:
- Disinfect the Glass beaker and put on your gloves.
- Rinse the bottle with a little alcohol
- Then add alcohol and the essential oils to the bottle
- Let the oils soak in the alcohol mixture for 5 min
- Add the water
- Shake the bottle befor use
Durability period:
Store cool, 3 Weeks
